Simply put, this is the best guitar REMOVEABLE mod I have ever purchased. I'm an old head (75) and have been playing guitar for 50 years. The Tonewood Amp2 entices me to "pick up my guitar and play". The sound is astonishingly good and I have the system in all of my acoustic guitars. The app for the tonewood amp2 is easay to use and you can really dial in the tone that you are looking for. My only regret is that I just found out about Tonewood a just a couple of weeks ago and they've been around for a long time. I'll never play without it!
This one works great. Nice being able to use the ap to control it. Also it stays recharged a lot longer than the batteries lasted in the first model.
I bought this 6 months ago and just bought another for my son. They add so much to your sound and has inspired me play more and different styles.
The new ToneWoodAmp2 is a huge upgrade from the original! The mobile app is excellent and makes adjusting and fine tuning the settings very intuitive and easy. The Feedback Assassin is a revelation! I have 2 guitars and I had trouble at times balancing the gain and feedback balance. Feedback Assassin took care of that within seconds! The new unit is worth the upgrade!
Much better than the original. Great for playing with effects anywhere unplugged. Great for trying new arrangements and writing original music. A great tool.

Excellent upgrade to the original SOLO. Love the rechargeable battery via a USB-C cable, the app to control the sounds, and the feature to fit it to the somewhat rounded back Taylor acoustic guitar.
Im not real techy amd had my brother help set things up. This little amp ROCKS and im having a blast with it. Looking forward to learning more as I go. The company and customer service is superb also.

I've been a Tonewood user for a while now as I purchased the first offering a while back. I really enjoyed the sounds, tone and vibe it brought out of my guitars. Whether it was around a beach bonfire, busking or on certain occasions on a simple stage set up, it sounded fantastic.
Having said that, there was one issue that kept coming up. This was more on design rather than sound. The knobs which faced front, towards my torso, kept getting engaged/changed or pushed on while I played. This happened particularly if I played while standing. I'm fairly fit and don't have a gut, so that's not the problem. It was just an annoying design thing.
Well, Tonewood 2 changed that. Yes, the controls/knobs are still facing my torso but they are not as big and easily pushed in by my body. That in itself is great for me and others who had the same issue.
Outside of that, the fact that I can use multiple effects at once is great and to top it all, the app makes it super convenient to make changes without having to flip the guitar and I'm also able to save my effects for different songs.
They really did a great job in re-designing and upgrading this amazing device. I absolutely LOVE it and so does my audience.

It’s a great little thing to have, I think I need some more time to play with the settings, but it really does work very well, and can really bring out some interesting sounds from my acoustic. Would definitely recommend.

I love the tomewood2 amp. Easy to use. Easy to install. Works exactly as advertised. And you can use it easily with all your guitars with simple purchase of another brace. I won’t play without it…
it is an amazing tool; however, it is overpriced if ordered from the US to the UK, with all taxes and delivery i paid £325. The tool really inspires to create music with all the different effects. It is nice that it does not require any amps - you just take the guitar and play immediately, you do not even need to open your phone to have effects.
I have a 50th anniversary Grateful Dead Alvarez guitar that I have loved since purchase. It had no pickup and after buying the Tonewood 2 amp I placed the Neo-D in this special to me guitar. I was amazed at the sound from this guitar, vast improvement in tone, sustain and volume. I then purchased a Neo-D for a new mahogany Martin I received during the holidays that had no pickup. Love them both now and has made both more fun to play along with the Tonewood 2 amp.
Great purchase and kudos to the Tonewood 2 amp production team. Agree with Dawes, pretty amazing product! Just a home player but has added better sound to both guitars. Anxious to try on one of my guitars with a pickup.

Its pretty good idk if its worth 300 but it’s definitely a cool device and versatile/convenient for plug n play effects. 200 would be more reasonable
Does this product work with acoustic guitars that don't have a jack/port?
This product makes me smile every time i turn it on. I know my guitar can use a fresh set of strings, but i just turn this on the ToneWood, and OMG!!!, even my awful strings sounds so good. After writing this, I am going to go change my strings, so that it will sound even better. Seriously!!! Best product in the world. Good Job ToneWoodAmp!!
A HUGE improvement from V1. Would love more effects for V2 (ex: wawa pedal) via software updates but I recommend it to others.
It is AMAZING! It gives every effect of expensive pedals and sounds great!
Haven’t figured out how to adjust it to my curved back, baby Taylor, yet, but I will. I have had the earlier style for several years now. Love the app. It will save me a lot of time getting it adjusted.
