This sounds so much better than I imagined. Just can’t say enough good things about about this company. Yes I had to wait for my preorder but it was worth the wait. 10 times better than my original Tonewood Amp.
Love the new ToneWoodAmp2! The iPhone app is intuitive and quick to use, the ability to layer effects is a plus, and the new controls are much more subtle than the previous version. I like the ability to adjust the curvature for my Seagull. But I think the long-life rechargeable battery wins the top-feature for me. I don’t have to swap and recharge batteries, which the original version ate gluttonously.
Well done, ToneWoodAmp! It was worth the wait.
So far im loving it .just gotta get into learning how to using all the settings.but so far its sounds really cool .
Very addictive can’t stop messing with.

A wonderful device. Effects excellent and ability to combine them a major advance. The iPhone App makes it very simple to use without having to stop and fiddle with the amp on the back of guitar
Rechargeable battery also excellent and does actually last for approx 10 hours as claimed
How about your web side providing a whole range of presets for customers to download and use !!!!!!
Finally customer service v good. I know there were a few problems which delayed availability but you kept me informed so I had no worries that I would receive one eventually despite living in the UK
One of the greatest enhancements to creativity in very long time, and well worth the wait. Customer service is outstanding. I was kept well informed on status and shipping. The Tonewood Amp 2 made my acoustic sound totally amazing!! I give it two thumbs up!
I'd take my TWA2 over a time machine!

Hands down one of the greatest enhancements to creativity. Been playing guitar for 30 years and I’m creating chords and melodies I’ve never played before. Even tried it with DI interface and it was so rich and clear. Highly recommend investing in this amazing tool!
This is my #1 enhancement to my Martin Jr solid spruce top cut away acoustice electric guitar. I don’t need a full assemble of special effects, separate amplifier, & wireless or cabled connection to enjoy spontaneous creativity with my travel guitar, or plug it in for a broader audience. Very rock solid professional grade electronic add on with all controls & settings readily available for adjustment thru the iOS or Android app available free, not just a gimmick. This is the 2nd gen with so many improvements & worth the wait as a very new to market product evolving thru KickStart & Pre-orders, they are now a very well proven & great company to deal with.
I can now essentially have a full rig for my acoustic thats super portable and easy to take with me. The friends I've shown this off to think it's pretty great too. One of the best guitar gadgets to ever be made. And it was worth the wait for the pre-order. The only downside is the adhesive on the unit is pretty strong so be careful about removing the plastic when mounting.

Worth the wait and the price! I've got four of my acoustic guitars outfitted to use the Tonewood Amp and they all sound amazing. One of the best features for me is the flexibility provided thru the free app that's used to control the Tonewood Amp. Excellent product!
Attatching was easy. Set up was also easy. As good as my Taylor sounded before the tonewood 2, with it it is amazing.
I have been wanting a TonewoodAmp ever since the gen 1 came out. Finally, I pulled the trigger and pre-ordered version 2. After Four months of waiting and anticipating, it arrived. It’s pretty amazing to hear all of the effects coming from Just my guitar (although I had hoped it would be a little louder). I’m a professional musician, but I bought it primarily for home use. The TonewoodAmp2 performs well as a stand-alone unit, but it Shines when using the app to control it. It was well worth the price and the wait.
It is like the original Tonewood but much improved upon. It has a way to eliminate feedback frequencies, is easier to dial in effect amounts. Could use more effects but for the plate reverb alone it is worth it. It elevates the playing experience of the acoustic in such a beautiful way. I love going into a trance while playing the acoustic. I put it in a Martin and it makes it so addictive to play(any acoustic will feel premium). My electric guitars and basses are jealous right now.
Took me a bit of strength to access the leveler, though. I thought I was gonna break it- but didn’t. Watched all the video lessons, but still haven’t put it to work. I know what to expect, because I have the Original TWA. Quite happy that I have it up and running to even a small extent!
Absolutely brilliant. So many options and functionality. Never has my acoustic been so much more without a bulky amp. Love it so far. Takes a long time to charge, but also lasts a long time. My only recommendation for those like me who have an active pickup is to unplug the cable from your guitars jack when not in use.
Literally almost right out of the box this tonewood amp 2 is up and flowing with super cool rich sounds with reverb that sounds better than most professional sounds out of very expensive setups. I have the brace magnets set up on 3 guitars from the original tonewood amp. Looking forward to some fun in small group worship settings!!
So much easier to control than the old version. It also is more slim and I lover the fact that it fits the old magnets installed “permanently” on all my acoustic electric guitars.
Still trying to decide where I like the position of the amp best, however I really enjoy playing the acoustic again. Sort of boring without now. Also love the App for my Android phone, it gives do much control without playing with the buttons on the amp itself. Overall really happy. Love it.
