Inspirational sounds and great for stage use

After installing the TW2, hearing the initial sounds coming from the soundhole of my acoustic guitar was unbelievable. Hard to comprehend all those effects were being reproduced with no amp/PA/powered speaker. It truly is amazing. The adjustments on the effects are just right for acoustic guitars and sounds great. I gig with my acoustic 3 times a week and using the TW2 DI function is also a great addition to the overall package. Effects sounds great through live PA and the compressor is fabulous for acoustic guitars. 100% satisfied with the product. Was very careful during the installation process especially the X-brace, once it was done, in hindsight, it was very easy. Highly recommended product.

Versatility

Yeah...pick up another for the other guitar or two...right? Makes 'em all sound a little better!

The new ToneWood Amp is great

I have the old one and just bought the new ToneWood Amp. I really like the updated version. Much easier to manipulate. Great stuff!

Magic maker!

Love the TWA 2! It is so easy to use . It’s like a magic sound enhancing magnet!

X-Brace for ToneWoodAmp for Acoustic Guitar?

I love my toneWoodAmp

Makes my 2nd guitar sound as good (or better) than my 1st guitar.

When I got my Tonewood guitar amp II, i installed the x-brace in my Taylor 514ce. It sounds Awesome. I decided that I should buy a second x-brace for one of my Martins. It sounds every bit as good (if not better) than the Taylor.

Worth the setup intimidation

Installing the x-brace blind is a bit intimidating. I ended up a bit off-center but it still works great. After fiddling with it for quite awhile, I'm comfortable navigating this device and it app. Sounds great on the guitar. Got it a number of presets already dialed in for my ear, some shaped for particular songs. With the app, it's easy to make quick changes of presets. Take advantage of the factory presets to help you shape your own. They make great starting places. I've already bought a couple extra x-braces for other guitars.

Timeworn amp2

It adds a little splash behind your notes and sustain when you want to let it ring out. Makes your guitar sing 🎶

Good pickup for tonewood

The pickup is great and I like the short cord. I had another pickup with a 10 ft cord and it is cumbersome. Good collaboration!

i like it!

so much an improvement from the 1 tonewood... still trying it out on my elite 6 ovation, 12 string seagull, and fender newporter.....

Awesomeness

Initially had problems mounting the Tonewood Amp on my guitar. Had bad feedback. Contacted Tonewood Amp folks and they had me move it more toward the bottom of the guitar. When I did this, I connected the magnet and some of the wires inside the guitar. That caused it to do bad things, but got that fixed. Tonewood amp sent me more adhesive backing for the magnet. Finally got it mounted properly. Sooo Cooool! My wife immediately noticed the difference - it was amazing and I love it! I've bought a second mount for my new guitar. Easy to change from on guitar to another. The Tonewood Amp folks are super to work with. Thanks guys!

Sick gool

Played for some people in a small setting and they were all impressed and asking what effects I had on my guitar. Would 100% recommend.

Game changer

This product is absolutely awesome! It delivers great sound without being heavy, thanks to its minimal weight. You'll also appreciate the long-lasting battery that keeps the music going. The easy-to-use app makes controlling your experience a breeze, and a ton of effects means you can customize your sound exactly how you like it.

Inspirational

Reading the reviews and seeing the ToneWoodAmp in action I purchased one. Its easy to install, sounds fabulous and its incredibly inspirational.

Lots of fun!

Been using this on a Cordoba Electric Acoustic guitar. Still playing with all of the settings. This is a great product. Can sit on my deck and not have to drag out an amp/cables/pedals. Very happy with my purchase. 2 thumbs up!

Version 2 is a great upgrade and ease of use compared to older version. I think a simple 1 track looper would be a big upgrade in v3

Inspirational new tool

Just got the ToneWoodAmp set up two of my acoustics with the additional X brace and I am pleasantly surprised at the ingenuity and quality of this handy new tool. It is inspirational to say the least, and now I can use the unit interchangeably on both instruments. I like that a bunch! Bravo!

Tonewood Amp II

Using the new Tonewood Amp version 2 on both my McIlroy and Chibson. Just install a second X brace and good to go.

I have 10 acoustic guitars. I have one in every one except the smaller parlor guitars. I just put this last one in my 12 string.

Works great for steel strings

Works great on nylon strings

TW2

I owned the original TW, but hadn’t used it for a couple years after getting a new expensive pickup on my acoustic. I had a new bridge put on recently and could not get rid of the boominess after doing everything suggested by the pickup manufacturer. I brought out the original TW and it fixed the problem. I knew there was a newer TW out there and ordered it. I can’t say enough on how it replicates the sound of my 22 year old Brazilian rosewood guitar. I’m still learning, but I am very pleased with the TW2 so far. I love the fact that all the effects are on the iPhone app, and it’s user friendly. And made in the 🇺🇸USA🇺🇸 to boot!

Fun times

Love the ease of using it and easy to install in minutes

Oh Ya!

I purchased the 1st version and loved it. I did not like how often I would have to switch out batteries and it ended up with a connection issue that was intermittent and I never got it fixed. The new version II is wonderful! It is greatly improved with the rechargeable battery and the App. So much more control and I feel like the new version has a lot more volume! Also, even though there are ways to control feedback, it is possible to get super cool effects by incorporating feedback!
